Monday September 03, 2018
WOLVERHAMPTON No.1 Sam Masters is the latest rider to be confirmed for Birmingham's inter-league challenge with Peterborough at Perry Barr on Wednesday, September 12 (7.30).

The Aussie ace joins three-time British Champion Chris Harris, former Birmingham man Paul Starke, plus all-action stars Jason Garrity and James Shanes in the six-man Edwards Plumbing Brummies' line-up with just one space left to fill.

Peterborough also have one gap to plug with seven-time British Champ Scott Nicholls, former popular Perry Barr men Ben Barker and Ulrich Ostergaard, Panthers asset and current Brummies captain Tom Bacon and Michael Palm Toft confirmed starters.

Co-promoter David Mason said: "We're delighted with the line-ups for this so far and each team just has one place left to fill each now.

"It's great to have Sam in our side and many thanks to him and Wolverhampton.

"He's a great rider to watch, he's thoroughly entertaining and I'm sure there'll be some Wolves fans who come across to see how he gets on as well."

In the meantime, Brummies are preparing for three meetings in three days as they head to Plymouth on Friday (7.15), league leaders Mildenhall on Saturday (7.30) before facing Coventry at Leicester on Sunday (1pm).

Full team-news will be confirmed for each of those fixtures later in the week.
