HUME SUFFERS BROKEN ARM

Thursday April 27, 2017
BIRMINGHAM star Danyon Hume faces a spell on the sidelines in another early season blow for the Brummies.

The youngster was involved in a nasty looking tumble at the British Under-21 Final in Poole on Wednesday.

Hume's engine seized coming out of bend four, throwing him from his machine and King's Lynn racer Josh Bailey had nowhere to go and ran straight over Hume.

It has since been discovered that Hume has broken his arm in three different places, dislocated his elbow and suffered nerve damage also.

The Buckinghamshire rider is set to undergo an operation later today (Thursday) which will see his arm plated and screwed in a bid to speed up his recovery.

We will keep supporters updated as soon as we know more.
